WaterScape will achieve a climate robust water system at the landscape scale by treating governance and physics as equally important parts of the solutions. This leads to the main objective of this proposal:

To develop, evaluate, communicate and implement transformation pathways towards waterscapes that provide i) future visions of more ideal states of the joint physical water system and water governance system, and ii) concrete changes of land use and water management measures and insight in key governance barriers and ways to overcome these, thereby reducing climate impacts related to drought, water availability and saltwater intrusion to ensure a robust and sustainable water availability, water quality and water governance for the Dutch Delta.
